WWE held its Biggest Event of the Summer, SummerSlam 2023, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, and it was arguably a very entertaining night for the WWE universe. Fans got to witness high-flying moves, hard-hitting contests, and some classic storylines throughout the event, but another thing that added to fans’ entertainment was the walkout theme songs.

The Stamford-based promotion did a brilliant job by having superstars like Roman Reigns, Logan Paul, Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso at WWE SummerSlam 2023, and all of them had a different kind of walkout theme song at the Biggest Party of the Summer. Roman Reigns

WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns has probably been the most well-carried character in the Triple-H-led promotion in recent years. One thing that has added more depth to his persona is his ‘Head of the Table’ walkout theme song. As soon as this song hits, the fans usually get on their feet to acknowledge the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.

The Undisputed Champion debuted this ‘Head of the Table’ walkout theme song more than two years ago, in April 2021, at a weekly SmackDown episode. This song was created by the Stamford-based promotion’s music partner, def rebel. Since Reigns started using this walkout song, it has helped him give an iconic touch to his entrance. It is now one of the most loved walkout theme songs in WWE, with over 18 million YouTube views.

Logan Paul

YouTube Sensation Logan Paul made his WWE debut just a few years ago but has been able to make a huge name for himself in the pro wrestling industry. The Maverick currently uses the ‘Take Flight’ walkout theme song, which has been a very recent addition to his entrance. The vibe of this song resembles pretty well with the heelish persona of Logan Paul.

During his initial days in the Stamford-based promotion, Logan used ‘Heart Cold’ as his theme song but later changed it to ‘Hurricane,’ which was composed by the official music partner of the WWE, Def Rebel Group.

Alongside his natural heelish persona and high-flying moves, his previous theme song ‘Hurricane’ helped him a lot to make rapid progress in his professional wrestling career, however, his latest theme song ‘Take Flight’ has taken it to a higher level.

Cody Rhodes

‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes returned to the Triple-H-led promotion at WrestleMania 38 and has been the most popular WWE superstar since then. His walkout theme song ‘Kingdom’ has played a major role in his popularity among fans, as it gives his entrance a sense of originality.

Cody’s walkout theme song belongs to artist Downstait, and it was released on August 23, 2016. The song talks about a performer who desires fans’ support on his journey to greatness. The American Nightmare recently talked about his theme song ‘Kingdom’ during an interview. He said, “When Downstait first made ‘Kingdom,’ I read they were struggling financially and working regular jobs. Brock Lesnar

Legendary WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar has been a massive draw since his 2012 return to the Stamford-based promotion, and his iconic, hard-hitting walkout theme song ‘Next Big Thing’ has been with him ever since then. The Beast Incarnate’s theme song is a heavy metal track with distorted guitar and powerful drums.

Lesnar‘s theme song doesn’t even have any lyrics; its strong music just builds a terrific feeling that is perfectly suitable for his WWE character. The song was originally composed by WWE’s long-time music producer, Jim Johnston. The legendary producer once revealed that the song was given to be produced to be the theme song for the Chicago Enforcers XFL team, but maybe God had some other plans, and it went on to become the iconic theme song for ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins originally made his debut with the Shield, betrayed his teammates, and then became one of the best performers in the current generation. His theme songs have given him an extra cushion throughout his career, and the World Heavyweight Champion made his way to the ring at WWE SummerSlam with his iconic walkout theme song, ‘Visionary’.

The best thing about Seth’s current theme song is how fans get along with the superstar and sing along to his entrance. They don’t just sing it along with the music, sometimes they keep singing it even after it is stopped, thus overtaking the entire show. The Visionary’s walkout theme song has been created by none other than WWE’s official music partner, def rebel. Before using this song, Seth used ‘The Second Coming: Burn It Down’ as his entrance.

Jey Uso

Jey Uso has turned out to be a superstar ever since he came into the limelight after Jimmy Uso’s injury. But he still used his old walkout theme song ‘Done With That (Day One Remix)’ by CFO$ during his entrance for his Tribal Combat match. This theme song has been iconic in many ways as it originally talks about ‘The Usos,’ and Jey using this song at SummerSlam was probably his way of paying tribute to his injured brother, Jimmy Uso.

Before this, The Usos used ‘So Close Now’ by David Dallas as their walkout theme song for a long time. It was only after the duo’s character transformation that they started using their current walkout theme song, ‘Done With That (Day One Remix)’. Jey Uso walked out to this song at WWE SummerSlam, but he didn’t know he would have to face a betrayal by his brother, Jimmy Uso, to end their decade-long tag team.
